Gradual Tan Classic Everyday Body Lotion

Really shocked at how much I love this! Figured I'd try this since I do like the color I get with Jergen's daily gradual tan moisturizer, but hate the tanning smell. St. Tropez definitely smells much better, but at the end of the day I can smell a slight hint of tanner (we're talking about 8-10 hours, so no biggie). I purchased the medium/dark color and love it. I didn't notice too much after the first use, but the next morning there was a nice glow (very natural looking). I usually use this about 2-3 days in a row and alternate with a regular moisturizer because you really get optimum results within 2-3 uses. The lotion is very thick and super moisturizing. Definitely recommend!

I normally have a darker complexion. My face and arms stay this color all year long. Every other part of my body is visibly lighter. I got this product to see if I could get my legs and midsection ask dark as my arms. On day 1, I used lotion and this tanner like another reviewer recommended. I put it on after an evening shower. The next morning, it was noticeably darker. I ended up with streaks only below the knees. Everything else was ok. Day 2: I used only the tanner after an evening shower. The next morning the streaks below by knee were still visible but less and I was darker that day 1. Day 3 and 4: I did the same thing as day 2. This morning I can barely see the streaks. I don’t think anyone else will see it though. My legs are now as dark as my arms. It is not orange. It’s a beautiful golden brown. I will not be putting more today because this is as dark as I want to be. However I’ll add as I get lighter. I’m going to try the extender next. The streaking is user error. I think putting it on clean dry but moist skin after a shower helps the product penetrate. You don’t want to be wet though. I let the lotion dry before I put my clothes on. I only noticed the odor on the first night. It’s not as bad as other products. When you put it on, it smells like lotion.

I got the light version because I’m pretty fair, but I used it for 5 days in a row generously and couldn’t really tell a difference. I’m planning to exchange for the darker version when the stores open back up and hopefully it’ll look better. I wouldn’t waste your money on the light version. I do like that it doesn’t have a strong smell though.
