Square Neck Virgin Wool Dress

First, let me say that I am a very quality conscientious shopper. This AKRIS PUNTO LBD dress may have been returned as a one-off in the after End of Year sale, noting the quality of this dress- guessing, circa 2020, is divine! So much so, that I would compare it to 2024 AKRIS quality and design. It's timeless! The 100% worsted wool and textured textile material are seasonless and wrinkle-free. Lining is Cupro. 110% more breathable than many other designer brands that use polyester lining. (Sweaty!) Great for traveling. Great for day-to-cocktails and occasion dressing. Great, even in the summer- as I loathe wrinkling linen blend or Pima cotton professional woven textile options for professional attire. Flattering neckline, hidden, well-placed pockets, hidden back zipper ( so many dresses today have exposed zippers- may be a design trend, but hidden zippers are a mark of fine tailoring). Anticipating that this will be a great wardrobe extender with a textured novelty jacket or cashmere-silk shawl. For me, the dress ran a bit wide, but not wide enough to be considered too large. I am an apple-shaped gal and do not like set-in waists. The local Nordstrom Rack, where I picked it up, does not offer tailoring, though the store manager mentioned a Parisian tailor, that I promptly engaged. Thank you, Nordstrom, for your buyers being mindful of what customers in general, and this customer in particular, look for when studying her online purchases.
