beautiful but odd proportions
Meh. I was so excited about this and really wanted it to work. It was so unflattering I didn’t take photos and sent it back the same day. I’m 5.7, 150lbs and my regular size is 8, I have wider hips and wear 34 DD. I’m slender and curvy. I have a long torso so I thought this would work but somehow the top looked too long on me and it was too baggy around the waist with too much extra fabric. It looked like I had a muffin top and handles that I don’t have. Maybe a smaller size may have worked on the top but the design and the placement of the seams on the top part made it look frumpy and a little cheap, so at least for my shape it was not going to work. Lovely fabric, and the skirt is so beautiful, unfortunately the top has really odd proportions. Fabric is heavy so it would have been great for cooler weather but it just didn’t work.
