Perfect Basic
I have now bought this top twice this season because I like it so much and wear it frequently. The quality is really good and it has a nice fit - fitted but not tight. It has a nice weight to it for a cotton tee.
If someone is considering this and the Caslon Long Sleeve Scoop Neck Cotton Tee, they are similar and I have purchased and wear both. The Caslon top is a bit lighter weight and comes in petite sizes as well.
If price is an issue, the Caslon Long Sleeve Scoop Neck Cotton Tee is about half the price of the Splendid top but both are nice to have in your closet if you are likely to reach often for a good quality, basic, well fitting, white long sleeve tee to wear alone or under a sweater or jacket, as I do.

Small
This shirt went back. I found it to be small (especially under the arms) and tight. It was also a little shorter than I like, I just didn't see it as any better than a shirt from the Gap so I returned it.

Bought and returned
After reading all the reviews I decided to spend a little extra on a couple basic tops in hopes that it would last me longer than a few months. Thanks to Nordstroms great return policy, I decided I had nothing to lose. The top felt really nice in my hands and it fit true to size. I am 5'6" and 130, I ordered the small. However it was very see through and fairly thin, I had to wear a tank top under it. The way it was made, made it very easy to snag and the one time I wore it, I got a hole in it. It is a nice layering piece I suppose if you're going to wear it under a sweater, however I did not find it to fit my needs or to justify the price.

Love Splendid but thin material
I love my Splendid tops! They are so comfy and stylish and I love that they pair so well with jeans as I'm a casual gal. My only concern with Splendid (and other brands as well) is that the tops are so thin that I end up getting holes in the jean button area and I have to throw the top away. I searched what I could do to remedy this problem and found Jeanie Clip. It's a clip that you put on your jeans button to prevent holes in your shirts. It worked! The clip is so stylish as well! Now I can wear my Splendid tops and not worry about those pesky holes!

Great basic
I purchased the black in XS which is my regular size. At first I thought it was too snug, but it gives a little. As long as it doesn't shrink I think it's perfect. I also like that the length is generous as its not a style I want to wear cropped. I plan to wear it with a sleeveless long suede vest when the weather is cool. The fabric I good quality and I like that it's made in the USA. I may get the white as well. This is a great staple.

Soft, well-made
Like most Splendid products, this shirt is incredibly soft and seems to be very well-made. It is a fitted shirt, I am 5' 9", size 8, and I bought the Large.

VERY Short!
I ordered an XL, noting that the description says a size medium is 26”. The length of an xl is 23” barely. Beware this won’t be long enough for normal or long torsos. Sadly going back.
