Authentic Original Two-Eye Boat Shoe (Women)

If you had asked me 10, 5, even 1 year ago if I would ever wear Sperry's, my answer would have been, "Of course not! Are you kidding me?" As much as I love the nautical look, I'm a not-so-closeted goth, and wear mostly black (By mostly, I mean 99% of the time). But when I discovered these (Via The Pouf, I think?) I knew I had to have them! And I'm so glad I did. They are so beautifully designed, with beautiful gold grommets, and so so comfortable. Most loafers and moccasins make my feet hurt. I have a beautiful pair of Dr. Martens that I have worn, I think, twice, before the pain becomes unbearable. But these are something else. I can wear them with socks and without them. Last weekend I went to a home show and walked for hours, and my feet never complained. Buy them!

If you’re on the fence about these, just buy them—you won’t be disappointed. Pretty sure that I was around 9 years old the last time I wore a Sperry Boat Shoe (now 33), and the canvas rubbing was so uncomfortable that I’ve steered clear of them since. But my mom swears by their comfort and these were cool enough to persuade the purchase. OMGosh am I now obsessed! They feel like butter on… I wear between a 5.5 and a 6 and often have to size down for width, though I don’t have a narrow foot. These feel eeever so slightly wide, but the length is spot-on. Got the 6s and will confidently be keeping them. These truly are the perfect-looking all-season shoe.
