Best Mid Thigh Shaper
This mid thigh shaper fits me perfectly. I bought it to give me a smooth look under my dresses, but it also makes your clothing a little looser. I tried several others, including the 'Skinny Britches' (more sheer and delicate like pantyhose), and 'Power Shorts' (ran smaller in size and bulkier fabric was more noticeable under clothing). This one is the best.

Beware these are for under your clothes.
I thought these were actual shorts from the description. They are for under clothes completely see thru. Wanted to make sure no one else made this mistake. Since these shorts are popular now and spanks does make leggings, I thought they were actual sport shorts.

Great for light fabrics
I wore this under my fitted satin wedding dress and it was perfect. I tried on other spanxs, but they all showed through the satin material. This one was perfect as you couldn't see it and it provided just enough support. Nothing too uncomfortable, just enough to smooth everything out. Highly recommend this for lighter fabrics that are less forgiving.

Totally invisible and comfortable
I love this Spanx garment! I am delighted by how they don't show, even under form-fitting dresses and skirts. They smooth and firm but are not tight. I could wear this all day, no problem. Very comfortable. I ordered the large (am 5/4" and 135 pounds) but will be getting a medium. I just want the firming effect, and this gives it.

Great smoothing effect!
I'm really pleased with these. I bought them to wear during the summer with dresses. I got them to help camouflage some cellulite (which they do very well), and didn't buy them for any shaping. I don't think they "shape" the figure but are nicely smoothing! I bought size small, and for reference I'm 5'4, 137 with an athletic build. I would buy another pair in the future.
