SPANX®
The bold mission of SPANX: to make the world a better place, one butt at a time. For founder Sara Blakely, it all started in 2000 with a bad case of VPL: visible panty lines. She cut the feet off her control-top pantyhose, and a shapewear empire was born. Today these undergarments are wardrobe staples for women and men who trust SPANX to slim their silhouettes and boost their confidence.

Fits great, feels great.
WONDERFUL.
I read the previous reviews, ordered both a small and medium. I'm 5'9'' and usually wear a size 6 bottom (I'm pear shaped when not preggers). I went with the small. I'd purchased a few maternity jeans at this point and realized that I need to size down, not up. This usually takes care of that whole drop crotch issue people note.
For me, these leggings are so comfortable and make me feel like me. I'm not a dowdy dresser. Having a comfy option to still wear wtih heels or fun sneakers is great. Love these.

Don’t be tempted.
Uncomfortable. Difficult to get on and off. Saggy crotch. Falls down after 5 minutes of wearing them. Going back. Don’t waste the effort.

I loved these so much!
They look fantastic! Feel fantastic! BUT, the crotch keeps slipping down!! (Wailing and gnashing of teeth.) I don’t mean a little bit, but by 2-3 inches once they warm up to your body temperature and pulling to top band doesn’t fix it either. I was having to duck around corners in 2 open houses to grab my pants crotch and yank them up. It was so undignified. I did buy these in 1 size up, just to make sure they were not too small for me, though they didn’t feel too small. I just love the look of them so much!, but if this is a flaw in their fabric choice or due to belly seam placement.. I’m gonna knock another star off and just cry for the loss of what could have been the sexiest and most versatile fashionable maternity leggings of all time!

LOVE THESE but size UP
I did not listen to the reviews about sizing up because I was afraid these would fall down, but man should I have listened. I’ve been waiting for these to go on sale and bought my pre preggers size (XS) and omg, I’ve never had so much trouble putting anything on in my life. I felt immediately woozy putting on the XS. My non pregnancy pairs still fit in XS even with my popped belly but the maternity ones must run smaller. I’m 18 weeks pregnant, 5’2 and 100 pounds pre-pregnancy but I have always had curves for being petite. I’m pretty much all belly right now for reference and the small feels soooooo good. Not sliding down and I feel like I’m going to live in these when I go out in my third trimester. The length is long on me in both XS and S but ‘tis the life of a shrimp. Def buy these in a size up if you love your pre pregnancy spanx faux leathers!!

Don’t do it
I cannot wrap my head around on how a company like Spanx failed to to make this a wearable pant. The crotch sags. Even if you size down. Such a shame as the quality and sleekness of Spanx are there but they're not even doable. The crotch sags 3+ inches and there is no stopping it! Even with suspenders I don’t think these can be saved. Such a shame. Spanx please figure this out as I’d love to have these!

Can I talk you out of buying these?
First, who on earth was their fit model for these? I can’t imagine what body shape these were designed to COMFORTABLY fit. I’m 5’10 and 193 lbs at 3.5 months and I bought an XL. I can easily pull the belly band over my bra! And that’s while the crotch is sagging 3 inches and the length is pooling at my ankles. Not a pretty picture, is it? I’m not even all that big yet and the portion that meets where the belly band starts hits my stomach in an awkward spot and has no stretch (or no stretch left to give). I have several pairs of the regular faux leather Spanx and they all fit great. Unless you’re 6’4 and carrying very high just don’t. There’s a bunch of bad reviews for a reason.
