Faux Leather Leggings

I was so disappointed at first sight because I was absolutely sure this tiny looking thing wasn't going to fit me. I tried it on anyway expecting to return immediately. It turned my fluffy, cottage cheese looking legs to a Card B music video. If you dont want to look sexy while feeling super comfortable then don't buy these tights. So worth the money!

Nordstrom only carries 2 of the 3 plus sizes for these leggings, and while I ordered a size 2x (22/24), I found that even though I normally wear anywhere from an 18-22, these became thin when stretched out, especially along the backside, and I don't have much of a backside. The treatment used to create a faux leather look doesn't look like faux leather. It looks like some kind of shiny fabric paint treatment, which when stretched, was hardly noticeable. I am giving 3 stars for the fit. The waistband does not roll down, does not give you a muffin top, the leggings smooth you out all over and give your backside a nice lift. I despise wearing regular spanx, but I was pleasantly surprised by the leggings this brand offers. Are they worth $102? Nope, so get them while they are on sale, and get the regular ones, give the faux leather a pass.

I actually purchased these leggings in an XL but wear a size 16/18. They took a bit of a struggle to get on at first but stay in place and don't get see-through, so I would call that a win. They are some of the best faux leather leggings I've ever seen in terms of fit, how sexy they look on, slimming properties, and resemblance to actual leather, but my biggest complaint is that the coating that makes them look leathery wears off in time, especially between the legs where my thighs rub, and on the butt. That's a bit of a bummer considering how expensive they are. I still give it 4 stars because they are fabulous in every other respect, but be aware that they have this issue over time.

I bought these leggings based on the reviews alone and they do not disappoint. They are very flattering. I got them shortened and love how they look with a little pair of booties. Plus, they are breathable. I wasn’t sure what to expect but of course had the Ross Geller wearing leather pants episode stuck in my head and was worried they could be hot. They aren’t. They also don’t show any lumps. Definitely worth the money.

Per a lot of the reviews, I sized up in these from my usual XL to a 1X. They're perfect! I probably could have gotten into the XL, but I'm glad I ordered up, because they are SNUG -- but in a good way. These have reached cult status for a reason -- they're wildly comfortable, the compression feels good, and they make your legs and butt look great. My only complaint is that they're very long, but that's the story of my life. I've purchased and thrown away several other pairs of faux leather leggings because they stretched out, weren't washable, scratched up, etc. I should have just bought these ones in the first place. If you're on the fence, just do it.
