SPANX

The bold mission of SPANX: to make the world a better place, one butt at a time. For founder Sara Blakely, it all started in 2000 with a bad case of VPL: visible panty lines. She cut the feet off her control-top pantyhose, and a shapewear empire was born. Today these undergarments are wardrobe staples for women and men who trust SPANX to slim their silhouettes and boost their confidence.

buttery soft

I purchased the dusk blue…in person it’s a little darker than the pictures. I normally wear an M and bought the S for a fitted look…but it’s still not too fitted. The M also looked good but decided the sleeves looked better in S. In the matching shorts I bought my regular M.

Pilling after 1 wash

I purchased this in-store after feeling the fabric, which seemed so soft and luxurious. Unfortunately the fabric is already showing major signs of wear after 1 wash. I purchased this just a few days ago and the sweatshirt and matching shorts are pilling, snagged, and look to be very worn. The quality of this fabric is poor, would not recommend especially considering the price tag.

pilling

After just 1 wear there was pulling all over the sweater. I haven’t even washed it yet. Not acceptable at that price. Very unfortunate because the fabric is buttery soft.

As per usual, my gripe with Spanx tops is they need an inch or two more in length. Otherwise, good slightly oversized fit with the illustrious supremely soft air essentials fabric. Love the dusty blue color. Perfection would be just slightly longer.

Easily snagged

This is so soft and comfortable. Unfortunately snags very easily.

Was so hoping to love this, but...

I have other Spanx sweatshirts that I love -- this has a cute neckline and back pleat -- but it's SO short. Wish it had 2 more inches in length. Sadly, going to be returned.
