Air Essentials Crewneck T-Shirt

The original Spanx Air Essentials pieces are some of my favorite items in my wardrobe, so I was excited to add another top to my collection. The good: The cut of this top is flattering, and the thoughtful details make it feel elevated rather than just a basic tee. The disappointing: The fabric quality has noticeably changed and, unfortunately, has not been the same for at least the past two years. The newer fabric feels thinner, snags more easily, and develops pills after only a few washes, even when washed on delicate and air dried. I have Air Essentials pieces from four years ago that still look significantly better than ones I purchased last year. This particular top arrived already snagged, seemingly from the tag being folded against the fabric inside the package. And if you’re wondering whether this is a lower-quality version made specifically for the Anniversary Sale, I can assure you it is not. I purchased a top directly from Spanx last year, and it had the exact same issue. Spanx, please bring back the original fabric quality that made Air Essentials such a standout collection. Until then, I’m unfortunately reconsidering future purchases.

This is a cute fitting shirt and a great color. However the fabric snagged the first wear - no idea how either. I don’t wear jewelry that would do that. Horrible quality for the price.

I can’t believe a tshirt that is $98 snagged within hours of wearing. Not worth it, the quality doesn’t match the pricing. You would expect more for what Spanx did charging

The shirt started raveling and looked snagged the first day I wore it I purchased the matching shirts also and was loving the outfit but it was just truly poorly made I thought it was maybe a one time thing so I went to reorder just the shirt and it was sold out Plus the material is really thin so it’s not worth the money
