Snow Angel Faux Fur Detail Waterproof Boot (Women)

Since these do not come in half sizes, I ordered one size up and one size down, to be on the safe side. My size is 7.5 medium width. The size 8 was too large, even with wooly socks, and like other reviewers had mentioned, a size down was a little snug. Mostly in the width. After a couple of wearings, they loosened up to a comfortable width, even with wooly socks. Great traction on ice, which is an issue here in coastal Maine winters. Warm and cozy. Less one star because there is no loop in the back for fast and easy slipping on and off. I’ve had Sorel’s before, and always a loop! Incomprehensible omission.

I live in snow country and wanted boots to accommodate the winter weather. These are very well made but are heavier than other boots I've owned. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase but wish they came in a size 9.5. I had to order the 10, and even with wearing thick socks feel like I'm slipping around in them, which is the opposite of the secure feeling you want when walking in the snow.

I don’t know why it says to order 1/2 size up? I ordered 1/2 size down per my other Sorels, and they fit really well! Just enough room left for heavy winter socks! They light and my favorite pair of any winter boots I’ve ever tried on! The waterproof portion is perfect to wear in any weather! They’re not clunky like the Joan of Arc, or bean boots! Plus they’re super cute! Love them! Got the Black ones.
