Kinetic Impact II Wonder Lace Sneaker (Women)

The color seems to be a little different than the pictures. The bottom part is almost pinkish not cream colored like the photos. The photos show everything goes seamlessly together but in person it’s more broken up. The rubber part is a little messy too with how it was glued or made. Overall 4/5. I wear an 8 and went with an 8 1/2 just to make sure I didn’t feel squeezed in the front like other comments say. They fit fine. The tops are very thin so you can see your toes poking through the top of the shoe if you lift them or walk and they raise up.

My use case for these will be a bit different. I have muscular dystrophy and have to wear carbon fiber braces due to foot drop. I love fashion, and shoes have always been my Achilles heel, pun intended. But with significant foot drop, I am relegated to sneakers; no fancy boots or heels anymore. So, I look for cool sneakers. These are awesome. They’re a little different due to the wavy sole, and they feel a bit funky dressy. I love them. Another great trait is that they don’t squeak. The braces always may make my shoes squeak. I can’t sneak up on anyone! You can hear me squeak with every step. These shoes are cool and quiet. I love them so much I just ordered another color. I’m tempted to buy extras to keep in the closet for when these wear out.

There were some mixed reviews about how these run. I read one reviewer saying they run small another reviewer saying they are narrow. I decided to order my usual size which is a 9 and also a 9 1/2. Length wise the 9 fit perfectly however it was incredibly narrow. 9 1/2 was a bit more roomy with a little bit of length but not too much extra room at the toe. I ended up taking the 9 1/2 which I think I will be very happy with. The shoe is comfortable. I love the funky sole. I’m so glad that the black-and-white is back in stock because I’ve been monitoring it for a while.

I bought these for looks assuming Sorel brand sneakers must be as comfortable as their boots…They have a strange heel/lift to them that forces the front of your foot into a narrow but non supportive shoe with each step. They are lightweight and I can wear them for short distances. I would not recommend as a walking shoe.

Comfortable and structured sole. Fits true to size, and I wear a 7 1/2 shoe. I purchased these during the sale in anticipation of wearing them abroad while I’m doing a lot of walking. I will note that the picture online doesn’t accurately depict how off-white and warm the main color of the sneaker is. This is not offputting to me, but I wanted to point it out in case other people may be anticipating a brighter white color, despite the description stating “honey white.”
