Great winter boots!
I was on the hunt for stylish, warm, waterproof winter boots and these are perfect! I usually wear a size 8 but I bought a size 7 and they fit perfectly, so I'd recommend going a size down.

Joan of Artic??? Not even debatable
I wore my boots to a Philadelphia Eagles game last weekend. I was so excited!!! I had these boots that were suppose to keep my feet warm in frigid temperatures. It was 15 degrees outside, I had thermal socks on with my boots, and my feet were SO COLD they went numb!!! I was so annoyed... gets better! I leave my seat to go warm up in the bathroom, come back and notice a girl is wearing boots that look just like mine. I asked her if she was wearing Sorel boots and she said yes. I asked her if her feet were warm and she angrily/annoyed said "No! They're (insert explicit word here) frozen!" I've been on the fence to write a review, but you know what... when you spend over $100 on a pair of boots you LOVED based on a picture and description and it's a bunch of bull... AND bc you wore them you're now stuck with them... it's very frustrating, annoying, and wrong! I work hard for every dime I make! Very very disappointed in the boots!!!

a little dissapointed
I love these boots...have been admiring them all season went back and forth from the black ones or suede. Decided on the suede and thought they were red detaling..when my husband brought them home I found out its actually PINK:( I was so stoked for red....OH WELL I am going to keep them because they are still really great! Just wanted to pass on the info!

Cute boot but not for walk around this winter which is what I was looking for. I would only wear them to play in the snow. I felt like I was walking around in a ski boot. So I would recommend them but only if you intend to have a snow ball fight in them.

great muck boot
Bought these boots for my daughter who is going off to college in the snow belt and will need a higher, sturdier boot than the fashion boots. They arrived the day we had a blizzard so I tried them out and loved them so much I am buying a second pair for myself. They are comfortable, light weight, great traction, warm and waterproof. I thought the laces might be annoying, but they help provide a more custom fit, and you can tighten them up at the top to keep the snow and cold out, unlike many boots that have a gap at the top where the snow falls inside. I highly recommend them as a very functional comfortable boot for the worst weather conditions that is also cute in a rugged casual way.

This product is great. The first time I used my boots was in Green Bay, WI at Lambeau Field for a Packers game in the middle of December. My feet were the warmest (and cutest) out of the whole group!

Let it Snow, Let it Snow!
I studied the Sorel boots for a couple of weeks and decided on the Joan of Arctic over the Torino based on a bit more fashion detail.
The test drive was taking our dog on a walk down the sidewalk. I would recommend wearing a sock or tight as the boot created an abrasion on my lower calf. Other than that blip of discomfort, they are a solid purchase. I wear an 8.5, but with the recommendations, I chose size 8 and it fits perfectly.
My commute to work is a 1.5 mile walk, with the Joan of Arctic Sorel, the trip will be an absolute pleasure.
