A fall fashion essential
These boot are adorable and well made. Sorel keeps me coming back with their quality.
I am always a size 11 across the board, so I was surprised when they were too big. Because these boots don’t lace up they can feel like you are stepping out of them. Especially around the ankle when you walk.
I returned them for a 10.5. They fit SO much better. There was still just a bit of slide around the ankle when I walked but, it no longer felt like my boot was about to fly off. A thick pair of winter socks fixed that and then they felt so warm, comfortable and fit perfectly.
I would plan on ordering half a size down with these boots. They run pretty large compared to my previous lace up Sorel boots.

problem
I ordered a pair of boots and the first ones I received had something inside and made a noise when walking. I was not happy with them. Now, I ordered the same boots again, but they didn't come with the original box. They came in a big box and I am not satisfied with this purchase. I would like to have the original box so I can store the boots because this big box doesn't fit in my closet. It's too big and ugly.

wanted to love so badly
I’ve always been a Sorel fan, I am in love with the look of these.. I have worn for a month and tried to gut out the pain I get in my ankles from the top rubbing, have always said beauty is pain… but pain is an understatement with these ones. After looking at my taped up ankles you’d think I had a bad sprain, haha… I had two large bandaids on in hopes it wouldn’t rub so much, by mid morning I pulled out the tape and went to town and doubled up even more… all to no avail. My job is on my feet all day but I’ve worn plenty of types of shoes, boots, heels, etc.. these just won’t work for me unfortunately..

Chaffes so bad
I wanted to love these, they're a beautiful color and heavy duty quality but omg just trying them on and walking around the house chewed up the front of my ankles so bad. Like actually painful.

Beautiful but not comfortable
I'm a Sorel fan and have always loved that the boots are rugged, waterproof and comfortable. These chelsea are beautiful and the height is perfect for me. However, I'm returning because the heel is too wide so it will give me blisters and they feel really hard, not comfortable like the prior Joans I had. I'm ordering the lace-up ones to see if they feel better because I really really like the look.

High quality, not the most practical for city life
The boots look great, but the heavy heel kicks up rain onto my calves. Well made but a bit heavy for the city imo.
