Explorer Chelsea Boot (Women)

Great boot in a great color! Unfortunately, however, I listened to the reviews that said it ran small and bought two sizes just in case (6 1/2 and 7). I usually wear a 6 1/2 or occasionally a 6. The 6 1/2 fit okay, but was just a little too long and maybe a teeny bit tight. Given that it will stretch out, I am returning both for the 6. Definitely does not run small in length, so buy your usual size.

These boots barely fit. I wouldn't want to wear them for more than a couple of hours because there's not enough room if my feet swell, even slightly. I don't think that this situation would improve if I went up a half size from a 9.5 to a 10. I want you to know that I have really small ankles and these boots would not allow me to put them on if I had average size ankles. These will be donated after this winter.

I have other Sorel boots, so I expected excellent quality leather, and workmanship in the make up and finish of the boots. They delivered. I sized up by a half (81/2), so I could wear thick socks. My feet slipped right in, they were comfortable from the beginning, and there was no need to break them in. I wore them for about 6 hours, and absolutely no problem. Another winner from Sorel.

These boots are SO cute! I will say unfortunately that an issue I ran into was that the right shoe was clearly smaller and fit different than the left. I don't know if I got an odd pair or if this was an anamoly but it was significant enough that I felt I should mention it, sadly I will be unable to wear these shoes and wish I could return them.
