Inconsistent Sizing!

I've purchased and had to return four of theSophia dresses due to incorrect sizing and fit issues. This happened both through Faherty and through Nordstrom. After both red and blue ran tight in the bust in sizes XS and S, I thought I'd try my luck with the Brown color and ordered it in directly in size M. Unfortunately this size M Brown fits like an XL even in the bust. In addition the length hits the floor. I'm 5'8" and thin. None of the other colors hit the floor. It's laughable but also disappointing. Why does the website say the dresses run True to Size? Why do the reviews not mention the sizing inconsistencies?

Smalls Runs Large

Very cute fit-and-flare midi dress with pockets and smocked bust. Unfortunately it ran very large in the bust in size Small. Reviews said it ran "slightly large" but the item I received was at least one size too large. Maybe I received an irregular or incorrectly labeled dress.

The dress was too long

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dress was too long for a 5’4 person. I had to have it hemmed and the shoulder straps taken up. I ordered a medium to accommodate a larger bust.

The perfect dress

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dress is nearly perfect. . very flattering, so soft, and supportive up top. I love how it covers the entire back so it really hold everything in. I’m on the taller side so the length was great for me but it might need to be shorted for a shorter gal. I wish it came in more colors!

Sophia Smocked Dress

Love the color and the fabric is pretty, but it was way too long, and a bit too big. I wear a medium, am 5’6” and I had to hem it. Also, the straps weren’t a uniform width, so it looks a bit lopsided. I think another fabric may have been better for this style.
