Soludos is proud to offer its first open-toed sandal: This one-band slingback is crafted in smooth, naturally tanned leather and set on a true espadrille footbed—making for a sleek, modern style statement.

Back in the sweltering New York summer of 2010, Soludos founder Nick Brown was searching for the perfect shoe. This mythical shoe would be reminiscent of the traditional jute-soled espadrilles he wore as a kid on the Spanish coast, sturdy enough to brave New York City streets and have the stylish sensibility to put him in a summer state of mind. In the absence of being able to find said shoe, Brown created it himself (and are we ever lucky he did).
