First unit failed
This is the second unit I’ve had to replace within a year. The first one died during the first few months of winter, so I bought this one as a replacement. I didn’t really want to purchase this camera, but I ordered it just so I could reuse the existing mount and wiring. I’ve had several Eufy cameras fail, and it seems like Eufy has a serious problem with the longevity and reliability of its cameras.

S340 camera Worked great until it didn’t!
Bought this S340 camera for my lanai back on March 2026. It is now September 2026 and I received a fail on my solar that was powering up the camera. Reaching out to eufy as it is still under warranty to see about getting a replacement.

No Subscription Fees!
For having no Subscription fees this is an awesome camera!
Have had for a couple months now and is working fine. Only glitch is it sometimes takes a long time to load the stored videos. When I get up in the morning and check to see what was happening during the evening there will be no files shown. I get out of app an re-open or go to another camera, then return to this particular camera and there will be files available for viewing.

Got a second camera and also upgraded my WiFi router to 5g just to find out the cameras use 4.5 gets to connect to WiFi routers not 5g ! So make sure your WiFi is the right frequency to sync your camera to wifi
