What it is: A clean, multitasking, barrier boosting active wear SPF face moisturizer melts in with skin-changing actives.

Separate - Unusable
I selected Solara Suncare following a careful review of safe products on EWG. Unfortunately the content separates and I kept getting a shot of oil-like liquid when pressing the tube, pressing some more would bring some thicker material. I was on a trip and disposed of it. An expensive mistake.

Was so excited to find an EWG certified sunscreen but I am so disappointed. The bottle says to knead/shake prior to use but even then, there are little grains that feel like an exfoliater and it is SO hard to rub in. I feel like I’m pulling my skin just trying to cover my face. Once it’s rubbed in, it’s fine and doesn’t feel greasy, but I will not be using this because it’s grainy and so difficult to rub in.

very thick
I ordered this because it is highly recommended by EWG for its healthy ingredients and full spectrum coverage however it is very thick. The instructions advise shaking or kneading tube before use. Shaking?? I wondered if mine was defective so I brought it into local Nordstom but since they don’t sell in their store, they weren’t sure if it was normal or not. I’m still using it since I can soften it up by warming it with my hands but it’s still pretty thick.

My New Go To Face Sunscreen
I'm obsessed with Time Traveler. It's Clean, simple, protective, and leaves my skin feeling moisturized and fresh. For a mineral SPF its light and applys easily. It read about it online, and I'm happy I found it. You will love it.
