'Damask' Compression Socks

I knew I was going to do a lot of walking in various cities last winter, so was looking for socks that would lend some support, breathe, and be comfortable and warm all day. These fit the bill. Really the most comfortable socks I have ever worn. I like the fact that, unlike most compression socks, they are a blend of merino wool and other synthetic fabrics. This means no sweaty feet at the end of the day! Also they have just the right amount of support, are easy to get on, and don't bind at the top. Yep, they are pricey, but really are worth it imho.I wash them in cool water (although they've also slipped into the warm wash once or twice and did not shrink at all) and air dry them, and they have held up like no other socks I've ever had. Highly recommended.
