Best Budget Goggles
Best goggles you can get at a budget. I recommend getting these Squad XL over the normal size because they come with 2 chroma-pop lenses, rather than just one.

My honest review after 93 days in the PNW
I purchased the Squad XL in December of 23 with my own money in the blackout color way with additional clear and everyday rose gold lenses. I mainly ride on Mt. Hood, but tour all over the PNW. After 93 days this season using these goggles, I can safely that this has been my favorite goggle purchase to date. My favorite aspects of the goggle, are the wide field of view, quick lens changes, and the clean look. The lenses cover a range of conditions from cloudy and rainy to blue bird and feel like Im living in 4k. The goggles are comfy on the face, but can ride around on face. Also, if you ride with them lower on your brow line, Ive found my cheeks get a bit uncomfortable. The goggles pair flawlessly with the method, but I also used my POC helmet and found the fit to also be virtually seamless. They are also lightweight, block wind, ventilate excellently, and frankly make my vision better than my regular ole eye balls.
For the negative. I haven't really been able to wear these under a helmet. Could be the additional harness on the back of the method in conjunction with the goggle strap. Not a big deal.
Lenses can fog heavily between lenses when stored. A few back to back mornings, Ive gone to change lenses and found that my clears or blue lenses are all fogged up on the interior of the lens. Super annoying cause then I'd have to either not use the optimum lens, or gently warm the lens up to clear the field of vision.
Lens changes can be tricky as the sides are pretty stiff. This gets easier the more you get the hang of it. Perhaps a slight bevel on the sides would make lens instillation a bit easier.
Included bag with my pair seems cheap when compared to the goggle. Perhaps a hard case or zip case standard?
Overall: I would recommend these as they're a lot of goggle for the price, especially if you can get them on sale.

Looks nice…
It’s too delicate of a goggle. Exterior lens is too susceptible to getting scratched. Interior is too sensitive to anti-fog being nicked/smudged. Foam is too weak to goggle being raised up on the helmet. Too difficult to change lens on fly. I’m not hard on gear but this this goggle requires a ton of extra attention to keep it in good form. Looks nice.

Love the XL Frames
Compliments on the large frame and lenses. Especially in combo with a smith helmet. Super good visibility and fits well with the strap being positioned correctly. Would highly recommend.
