Lightweight in-mold construction fuses the exterior shell and EPS foam to create a minimalist helmet ideal for hitting the slopes in comfort and style. A self-adjusting lifestyle fit system and AirEvac™ ventilation add comfort and utility, and the style complies with ASTM F 2040, CE EN 1077:2007 CLASS B alpine ski and snowboard helmet safety standards. This version features a Multidirectional Impact Protection System, or MIPS, which uses slip-plane technology inside the helmet to reduce rotational forces that can occur in certain impact situations.

SMITH A-MAZE-ING
Fits a little bit bigger than regular fit large. Everything is easy to adjust and it's super comfortable. Looks super sick of course and is going to fit perfect over a beanie or face cover. Size large is perfect. The ventilation is unreal as always. Great helmet over all.

Not all sizes are MIPS despite product photo
I ordered a small, and when it arrived it was not MIPS. The product photo and description were MIPS, but apparently MIPS is only offered on the medium and large sizes (despite all three being the same price and using the same photo that clearly showing MIPS).

Finally a great fit for an Asian head!
Great that I finally got a round fit snow helmet that fit + look great for my Asian head!
Got the Medium which fit perfectly!
I normally wear a Large in regular helmets but they don't fit well making my head look like an egg.

I really am quite pleased
I really am quite pleased with the fit and functionality of this helmet. The adjustability with the BOA dial makes it a customized fit each time you wear it and I won’t buy a helmet without additional safety features like MIPS that this helmet has. Overall this is a great value for a good looking helmet.
