Lowdown XL 2 60mm ChromaPop^™ Polarized Square Sunglasses

Wanted to preserve my vision the best I could post-LASIK and decided to go with these since I have a wider face. They fit perfectly and sit comfortably without putting pressure on my temples or causing fatigue on my nose bridge. Colors are still vibrant with these on, makes wearing sunglasses a great experience. I didn't realize Smith sold sunglasses, but it makes sense given that they make ski goggles as well.

I have worn low downs for years and usually love them. I recently repurchased the Lowdown which was too small. So I ordered the XL’s which are also too small somehow and give me a headache (my head isn’t that large), the material feels cheap and has a weird texture, and the lense has a slight wave in it so the vision is worse and makes me slightly disoriented. The cloth bag it comes in is also stiff and a weird texture, unlike any microfiber case I’ve seen. Normally a big fan of Smiths -not sure what happened with these shades. Would love a refund.

These are great glasses, Lowdown XL 2 mate grey marble. Wow. They fit just as specified, the lenses are large but that’s what I was looking for. It reminds me of the 70’s - 80’s large style glasses they used to wear but with a modern frame style. The pattern which it’s very cool is more of a dabbed sponge impression rather than marble veins. Matte grey frame with matte black dabs. Not too showy until you see them up close. Super light weight. The large lenses from the inside at the edges have a bit of a purple glint at angles. I don’t mind it though, looks kind of pretty. Otherwise the lenses are outstanding. Great glasses I will probably buy a back up.
