Best Toaster Ever
We used to always use the cuisinart line for some time now and I decided to purchase the Smeg 4 slice toaster. It has been a total game-changer and toasts our English muffins or bagels perfectly without drying them out. Other toasters will get to the point where the bread is hard and crunchy but the Smeg has not! Great investment.

Buy somewhere else! NOT Nordstroms
If I could give this negative stars, I would. For the sole purpose of it being purchased through Nordstroms. For the amount of money spent ($300) it was a shame that Nordstroms couldn’t do better business. Upon opening after receiving the shipment, it had already obviously been used!! There were crumbs and seeds in the catch tray and markings on the top of the toaster. Nordstroms refused to offer any compensation and I would still have to wait over 1 week for a replacement.
I didn’t spend that amount of money for a toaster to be sent a used one and than have a reputable company not rectify the situation.
I ended up giving my business to Williams-Sonoma.
As for the toaster, if you’re able to spend that amount of money on a toaster, go for it. It works well and gets the job done nicely.

You can style your kitchen around Smeg
Upon opening, it’s even cooler than expected! Because it’s the four slice, it does require an adequate amount of counter space. When I looked at the box, it shows the light blue color which I almost thought I selected instead. Don’t think you can be disappointed with either!

It's perfect
Now I don't have to wait for my toast. It makes 4 slices, doesn't have a stand-by mode that takes electricity, and it does more than just toast bread. It even has a defrost, which for me is great as I freeze my bread due to it going bad fast. I got it in misty green and it looks so good I'm leaving out on the counter for others to marvel at.
