Merino 250 Base Layer Crew Top

I have several of these in different colors. Now I've rounded out my collection with the black one. Perfect as a not-bulky base layer, but I always wear a cami underneath.

I really like this merino sweater. I got it in black so it's exactly as pictured online. It's true to size. I got an XL due to its style of a more fitted top vs. oversized when I get an L. It fits nicely over merino bra and merino tank top without showing any lines. So it's not skin tight on me. It feels soft enough for being 100% wool. Not like fleece but not itchy either. It can be worn as a nice thinner layer or on its own. The sleeves are longer which I like and prefer. You can always bunch them a bit at the wrist or fold them over if they are too long. No big deal. I'm not sure why some reviews stated that it was tight around the middle. I almost did not buy it because of those reviews, but I'm glad that in the end I decided to give it a try anyways because it's not tight around the middle at all. I'm 195lbs/38D and have a bit of a belly and this top is very flattering on me. If anything, it's even a bit slimming, particularly in black. It also looks less like athletic wear in black than other colors so you can get away with wearing it with jeans for a casual non athletic look. The price is very fair for the quality and compared to many other Merino clothing companies where the sweaters are typically way more expensive. I highly recommend you at least try this top if you are looking for a merino layering garment. it's pretty great.

Perfect fit and very soft. I can’t wait to try them out when the colder weather comes. I already had some gloves and hats from this brand, so I’m sure the base layer shirt will keep me warm too

Very happy with this shirt. Looks nice and is warm even in windy conditions. I bought it in four colors.

Softer than traditional wool, the Merino wool pullover is light weight and feels great against your skin. Does not chafe or irritate me. I work in very cold environment. And this pullover is a life saver. . It is definitely worth the money. I have purchased two pullovers to date.
