Beautiful but kills plants
Literally every plant has died in this thing. I have never had issues growing herbs outdoors, but something about this seems to kill them off. I reached out to modernsprout and the customer service was great. She told me I was "cooking" the herbs, so try to turn it down. I will start over with some new plants and hope that works. I've also had a lot of trouble with the automatic light on the app. I've set schedules before, followed the instructions, and have had the lamp stay on when it should shut off. I have now moved to only turning it on and off manually. Perhaps that is why my herbs have been "cooking" - the light was on way longer and brighter than it should be.
However, it is beautiful.

Beautiful and useful!
I absolutely love this item! It is so pretty and allows me to have fresh herbs at hand year round. I’m not sure what I like more: how it looks or how it functions.
I still haven’t been able to get the timer in the app to turn off when I want it to but I expect that’s user error.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This makes growing kitchen herbs a breeze. I love the lights and compact, sleek, design. It's a lovely addition to my kitchen and now I have fresh herbs, despite not having a green thumb. I would suggest against basil though because basil takes over other plants.

Sleek and Clean

This was super simple to set up and looks very sleek and clean in the area. If you have a room that is low lit without a lot of natural light this is a good way to lighten up the area.
