Slotted Turner

I hope this product is not representative of Le Creuset's current quality because it is a well-known brand that is known for not breaking on the second use. This is not the case with this overpriced spatula. All I was doing was trying to flip a hamburger over in a well oiled frying pan. The burger was slightly stuck to the pan so I applied a slight amount of pressure and felt it snap under the rubberized portion of the paddle. I switched back to the cheapie $1 spatula I've applied 10x the pressure hundreds of times over the last 10 years to finish cooking the meal. I'm legitimately worried that this obvious lack of quality may translate to their pricier items. I hope this isn't a trend. As an aside: I have no idea how to return this or to get a new one because Nordstrom return policy and process only covers items that were defective AND unused.
