Sleeveless Stretch Taffeta Gown

This dress feels elegant to wear. The satin is a bit noisy and looks more high end than plain satin; it has a chantung look that you can kind of see in one of the pictures that was a pleasant surprise to me. I have an hourglass figure; I used the measurements and found the size I ordered based on my measurements to be correct with just a smidge of room, so not too tight. Even though the waist was not super snug, the zipper is really hard to get up because of how the waist area is sewn. For the price I found this VERY disappointing; it's really hard to get over the seam and then at the top the last couple inches are just hard to get up. I have a large bust and this dress is not exactly perfect, but close enough to workable (I wish the bust area came down lower and the top of the waist area started lower). Because of this it could be slightly more flattering, but it looks nicely put together. LOVE the pockets! The dress feels comfortable and there is a bit of stretch to it. I could stop sucking in my gut and you can't tell the difference :) It's long on me; I'm 5'4" and with 4 inch heels I'm still stepping on it. I'll have to get it shortened and I'm considering asking them to make it a high low. Overall this is a solid choice; it feels quite dressy. The bust doesn't seem as plunging as I was afrait it might; I can just see the bow on my bra when I look down, but it doesn't look revealing. I do wish it came in a more interesting color to be honest, but the navy is certainly elegant.
