Slade Wool Blazer

This is such a great piece to have in your wardrobe. It’s a go to piece that resists wrinkling and makes any outfit look more put together. Great for travel. I was so happy to see the wool fabrication in camel and navy this season. It’s lined in the front only and is more of a light sweater than it is a typical blazer. They do run small and have a slim, tailored fit. I’d recommend sizing up especially if you are busty. The sleeves run long for me (5’4”) but I have had other slade blazers altered at Nordstrom wonderfully. One thing I never understand about a blazer at this price point is why no extra buttons? They are not the type of button you could replace without replacing all of the buttons to match. Luckily, I haven’t lost one yet. Fingers crossed.

I would have kept this except for the holes on each shoulder where the hanger was rubbing. The wool is thin and delicate so these need reinforcing in the shoulders. Perhaps a lining would have solved this problem. The cut, color, and fabric were nice, but I am not paying this price for a garment with holes in it already. Returned.
