What it does: Sisley Research has drawn on the latest scientific advances to offer an effective solution to the three physiological causes of sensitive skin, so it can finally be free from daily discomfort. Sensitive skin reacts to normally inoffensive stimuli, such as chemical, physical, emotional or lifestyle-related factors. These reactions are due to hyperactive skin nerve fibers, causing feelings of discomfort (prickling, tightness, itching and hot sensations), followed by a cascade of reactions in the skin which can lead to visible redness. Sensitive skin may also lack lipids, which play an essential role for the skin's protective barrier by nourishing and preventing skin dehydration.
