What it is: A plumping lip balm that moisturizes lips with an instant beautifying effect and a long-lasting feeling of comfort.

What it does: Its melting, sensorial texture is combined with a skin-care-infused formula, enveloping lips with a fine, smoothing film for fuller, more beautiful lips. Immediately, lips are visibly smoothed and more radiant. Plumped and moisturized, they are nourished all day long with shea butter and the Hydrobooster complex. Day after day, this balm, enriched with padina pavonica extract and vitamin E acetate, protects lips from external aggressions. Phyto-Lip Balm is available in a clear or a rosewood version and also a fresh pink shade that adapts to the pH of lips giving them a custom color. It is easy to apply and offers buildable intensity, so it can be gentle or more vibrant, while adapting to all skin tones. In its gold and white zebra-striped refillable case, Phyto-Lip Balm can be applied and re-applied to care for the lips and give them a satiny glow. How is it refilled? The refill clips into the base of the cap. Remove the upper part of the lipstick by pulling it upward and clip in the new refill.

How to use: Apply the balm directly onto the lips and wear it alone, as a base for lipstick or with a lip pencil for the darkest shade.

Weird Scent / Taste?

Need to start by saying, I LOVE the Sisley Phyto Rouge Shine formula. I wanted to have a “clear” version for everyday. Made an incorrect assumption that the lip balm would be somewhat similar in texture, scent, etc. to the Phyto Rouge Shine. Unfortunately, it’s NOT similar. The feeling and texture of the lip balm is nice but I can’t get past the scent (and unfortunately also a taste), that to me is sort of weirdly plastic-y and also sort of like nutmeg? Will be returning.

LOVE refillables when u can FIND the refill!

SUPER proud of Sisley for pushing to be more environmentally friendly by offering refills for some of their products. However, I have noticed that Nordstrom often doesn't carry the refills. I saw the lip refills when the product launched about a year ago and then nothing. It's sad that my friends and I have to shop elsewhere for these refills when I have a Nordstrom credit card and would like the benefit of earning points! Hopefully, they eventually restock my fav colors 2, 3, 10, 13, and 21!

Perfect Shade

The pink glow is the perfect shade for any skin tone. It’s so subtle and it looks like you gave your lips a little glow up without looking like you added any color, they look healthy. Just like any balm reapplying often is needed. However, I do love it when it’s on. My lips do feel moisturized and there is no flavor or weird scent to it. Everything is great about it but the price, for a balm it’s too pricey because I will go through it quickly due to having to reapply so often.
