Restorative Hand Cream

I have rheumatoid arthritis and several other immune skin disorders that leads to very dry skin with heavy built up callouses, even though I do not work with my hands it sure looks like I do. This hand cream removes the dry dead skin in days leaving me with soft healthy hands. Its expensive but it is absolutely worth it to me. I need to use only a small amount each evebefore bedtime.

Christine and Derek at KofP Nordstrom sent me a sample, and this is the ONLY product that has healed my dry cracking hands. I live in a dry, high desert climate and I had been doctoring my thumbs and pinky with various creams and bandaids at night, to no avail. After using the sample only 2x, I noticed immediate healing and no more bandaids and ouchies! A true lifesaver. A little goes a long way, and it provides a barrier that one can feel, even after several hand washes. I applied the sample at nighttime only and it provided relief and cured the dryness and improved appearance. I called Christine and ordered immediately. Please do not hesitate on this one. Xo

I am returning this cream. I purchased it based on other reviews. I tried to tolerate the scent , which to me smells like an old fashioned hospital. I thought if it would help my hands which suffer from winter weather, and frequent hand hand and dishwashing , I would try to ignore the smell. However, I did not notice absorption of the product, but a feeling that there was a slightly sticky, and almost drying ( weird, I know) substance on my hands. I tried it 3 times, and that was it. There was never a sense of a moisturizing effect.

I tied the sample and fell in love with it right away. I bought and use it for 10 days now. I don't have much fat on my hands. My hands are often very dry and I wash my hands all the time. This hand cream is thicker in texture but absolves right away with gentle massage into the hands. Not greasy at all, I can touch paper and type on key board right after applying the cream without leaving greasy marks. What's more impressive is that I can see that the back of my hands becomes softer and brighter looking after every use. This cream is not just a hand cream, it does restore hands to their youthful state.

I have been looking for a luxurious hand cream to carry in my purse instead of my ride or die La Mer Hand Treatment because that one only comes in 3.4 oz. Okay so this hand cream is expensive, almost 50% more expensive than La Mer on a per-ounce basis ($50 per ounce vs. $35 per ounce for La Mer). But I wanted to try it. The scent put me off at first, initially smelled "grandma" to me. I thought I would return it. But then I tried it again. The second time, I actually loved the scent. This time, it smelled "vintage" like perfumes from the 50s and 60s. Elegant somehow? What really interested me the second time is how quickly this cream absorbed into my skin. There is absolutely no greasiness and I could type on computer or hold a pen right away without getting grease marks everywhere. That said, it didn't feel super moisturizing on the top of my hands or my nails. I had to layer the Dior Huile Abricot oil to moisturize my cuticles as well. My skin felt soft, but not deeply nourished. La Mer is still the clear winner for me overall but the immediate absorption I experienced with Sisley tempts me to keep this at my desk. I might try the Sisley a few more times to make sure I can live with the scent.
