What it is: An eyeshadow with a half-powder, half-cream hybrid texture, that creates a veil of color and radiance on the eyes.
What it does: Les Phyto-Ombres are single eyeshadows available in a range of 20 luminous, intense and seductive shades. Five finishes—matte, silky, metallic, glow, and sparkling—illuminate the eyes and create a 3D effect. Its ultra-sensory texture melts onto the skin and leaves an ultrafine smoothing film. The formula is enriched with naturally derived extracts that provide softness and comfort to the delicate skin on the eyelids.
How to use: Apply with the sponge applicator found in the case, an eyeshadow brush or even the fingertip. Incredibly easy to apply, it can be built, smudged and intensified all you want. You can use it as: a base to even out the eyelid; as a single color on the eyelid to create depth in your gaze; along the lashline for a modern eyeliner effect; and, under the arch of the eyebrow or in the inner corner to illuminate the eye area.

Excellent all around
The eyeshadow single is expensive, but the quality is exceptional. I'm not particularly eager to fuzz with multiple colors, but I enjoy wearing color. The formula goes smooth, there is a lovely seen but no glitter what so ever. It looks good by itself, or you can build the intensity for a more dramatic look. I already bought two, and I would love to throw out all my other shadows and order one or two more of this formula. For reference, I am 47, so although I am in good shape, my eyes feel dry with specific brands. I used to wear a lot of channel and TF eyeshadows. Chantecaille and Sisley seem to feel more comfortable and do not irritate my eyes.

Irritated and burned my eyes
I had a Sisley makeup artist give me a complete makeover, including eyeshadow, liner, and mascara. I liked the colors of the eyeshadows I purchased. But, by the time I got home, my eyes burned and were irritated until the next day. I immediately returned the eye shadow.

makeup can be fun again
I love makeup. Especially eye makeup. For years I wore a lot of eye makeup and always received compliments. Then suddenly I reached an age where it seemed like I was to be stuck with neutrals and matte shadows for the rest of my life. I no longer had fun putting on makeup. I tried to step out of the my boring routine but each time I would try it just didn’t look good on me and I’d end up taking it off and putting on the matte neutrals again. Then I found this shadow and I liked the way it looked. I may be 50 but I could wear shadow with a shimmer again. I used NARS eye base and only put the color on my lower lid. I used black liquid eyeliner close to the lash line and black mascara. I love it and I’m so glad I didn’t give up my search.

Really surprising find!
Great color and staying power with this shadow. I can apply to moisturized lid or foundation base and get great results. I ordered two, this color and matte taupe and love the combo. this is a lovely rose gold color without the sparkles or glitter that might work for younger eyes, but not mine. It does have a lovely sheen!

Gorgeous! Long Lasting!
I have Glow Pearl, Glow Gold, Glow Silver, Metallic Pink, Silky Coral and Metallic Purple. It is best to apply with fingers. Cream to powder eye-shadow. Very long lasting for all day. Does not move. Good for sensitive and contact lens wearing eyes too. Works beautifully with Sisley eye pencils. No fallout. Highly recommend!
