Sensor Mirror Pro Wide View

I want bright sunlight type light, which this promises; unfortunately, there are too many flaws for me to give appositive review. I am wondering if the positive reviews I have read were filtered, because I am not finding this worth the money. To me this product is over-engineered and under designed. Let me explain what I mean: - The high-tech aspect of using an app and having the mirror use a sensor may appeal to some people. I never felt turning on a mirror was a big chore and I dislike the app because unless you have a personal firewall on your home internet, this type of wired appliance creates security vulnerabilities. I was hoping I could use it without the app, but there is no way to adjust the brightness unless you use the app, at least not that I can find. - The side panels appealed to me; however, I cannot see the sides of my face unless I pull the side panels toward me with both hands. They do not stay in place so I cannot use a makeup tool and see the side of my face. - The small magnifying mirror only sticks on the bottom of the mirror. I cannot move it higher to use without holding it in my hand. Why would someone crunch their neck down to use it at the bottom of the mirror? This makes no sense. Again, if you are applying makeup or dealing with contacts, you only can use one hand. - The charging cord is way too short unless you have a plug right on your table or vanity top. - The light is nice and it does seem to simulate daylight, which I wanted. It has other options for office light, evening, etc. That part is nice, but ultimately this is too expensive for the flaws it has.

I wanted so much to love this mirror. It’s very big and takes up a lot of counter space. There is no magnification except the little tiny magnetic mirror. I need the magnification for most of my eye makeup and using that little tiny mirror is exhausting. It would be great if the entire mirror had at least a 5 x magnification like the 8 inch mirror. Unfortunately, I’m returning this mirror.

For the price of this mirror, go to Glamor or Vanity Impressions or buy the other Simple Human makeup mirrors, of which I have three that work well. I have a lot of Simple Human products but this one was a fail. I should have heeded the reviews because I experienced the same issues. The light has no magnification except for a small round disk with a magnet that attaches to the bottom of the main panel. The biggest issue though is the bluetooth did not work for me which was a major fail since you can't adjust the lighting without using the app, and I found the lighting to not be very bright. I did contact Simple Human and they were not able to resolve the issue after two calls and an email, and at this point don't want the mirror so will be returning the mirror. Thankfully I I saved all the original packaging because I suspected I might have issues because of all the bad reviews.

I wanted to love this mirror. The concept was great, but you couldn’t see the sides of your face with the mirrors that tilted inward, unless you held them in while looking at the suds of your face. It just doesn’t fold in far enough. Sadly, I’m returning.

Bought this 3 years ago & it's still perfect! Lost its charge once & couldn't figure out how to fix it so called Simplehuman customer service. They walked me through the reboot steps in just a couple of minutes. The light is perfect! One thing I did with mine is to add small suction cup magnifying mirrors on either side. One of the best things I have ever purchased! Just bought the 4 inch travel mirror, too. Love these products!

I love this mirror, it fits so beautifully on my vanity and the light on it is amazing for doing makeup. I downloaded the app and I love using the candle light option in the evening it allows me to see my make in different lighting . The attachment for 10x view is perfect when I’m doing my eyebrows of lashes for that close up view!
