Silicone Petal Trivet

I purchased all three of the new for Spring 2026 Petal silicone trivets. I must say that I was a title bummed that this pink is bubblegum pink. I was hoping is was more like the Chiffon Pink as found in the range of cast iron and stoneware. The quality is absolutely there and am pleased with the thickness of the silicone that will protect surfaces from scratches and heat or cold from the cast iron. I have found Spring floral pieces that work well with this pink such as the white Petal braiser.

I, on a whim, purchased the three Floral silicone trivets that are new for Spring 2026. The light purple one is definitely my favorite and looks great with the Camomile and Provence Petal braisers I purchased in Canada last spring. The light purple packs a light but noticeable contrast against the yellow light yellow that is Camomile. With the Provence, it harmonizes with the lighter interior of the purple and contrasts nicely with the darker color on the outer rim. It is very well made and is nice and thick in similar style to the older French style silicone trivets that were made up until a couple of years ago. A definite treasure to have.

At first blush I wasn’t keen on the shade of Pêche that the silicone came in but learned to like it when paired up with other (non-Pêche) petal braisers that I have. I really like that something new was made for the floral Spring range. Definitely am interested in more colors to complement the Floral Ovens and Petal braisers. I am pleased that these are thicker than the current range of silicone trivets, more like the older and classier style French silicone trivets that were made up until a couple of years ago. Thank you for making something new and unexpected for Spring.
