Other reviews have already explained the effectiveness of how these dry and shape their brushes very well, keeping water out of the ferals and those reviewers are correct. For me, ontop of all that, they save space from the alternative drying method of laying brushes flat on a towel on the counter. Technically, with Sigma's new brush technology, the ferals are now waterproof making these drying towers less necessary to have (no longer as necessary to hang the brushes upside down), but they still dry them faster and do provide re-shaping as well. I still feel comforted that I'm caring for my brushes (an investment) continuing to dry them upside down. The thing I would like to mention so that others know, the Face & Eye Brush Towers along with, the Eye Brush Towers both interconnect and stack together. Being that I have 3 different full sets of brushes (to avoid having to clean them so frequently because I am lazy ), I needed more brush slots than what was provided by only one Face & Eyes Brush tower alone to clean and dry ALL of my brushes at one time. It was difficult to find confirmation in other reviews that multiples could be stacked together, but THEY CAN! I purchased and stacked two Face & Eyes Brushe Towers together, and then added an Eyes Tower to the top and it works and it stands up fine (arguably, it may be getting tall enough that you might worry if it will stay standing upright if you were to add a forth tower to it, but you may be able to, I just can't confirm that). It should also be noted that whenever you add a new tower to the stack, you lose the very top tier on the tower below it. So, if you stack two Face & Eyes Brush Towers together, you actually lose the top teir, aka the eyes portion on the first tower (hard to explain, but I tried ). Since I stacked two Face & Eyes Brush Towers and an Eyes Brush Tower altogether (3 towers total), the first 2 towers stacked on each other both lost the top tier. My point is that there is a bit of a sacrifice to stacking any of the towers together. Confusing, I know, but hopefully you can see what I mean by looking at the picture. It should also be noted that this tower is super sturdy and looks to be easy to wipe down and clean off if it somehow gets dirty. Upon touching the Sigmassnaps (pink silicone portions of the towers), they also feel very firm and unlikely to bend or break over time. Last thing I'll mention, this isn't a quick process, inserting the brushes into the slots/snaps. As you might assume for proper drying, the cloth slots can be tight and a bit of work pulling your brushes through them (typically the bigger face brushes). It's not hard per se, but it isn't my definition of quick and easy when it comes to the big face brushes. It might be more troublesome if you have difficulty with your hands or if you deal with arthritis in your hands/fingers. Just a heads up! If you can get these towers on a sale, that's awesome and I would purchase them all over again for sure!
