Side Braid Wide Leg Jeans

I've bought a few things from City Blues lately, and really love them, so when I saw these adorable jeans with denim braided down the side, I wanted to try them. Getting them out of the bag was a job in itself. These jeans are HEAVY! And according to the sizing chart, these should've fit perfectly, but I could barely get them over my thighs! You know those moments when you feel really good about yourself, and you're able to wear those jeans you hid way in the back, and you're shocked when you try on something new in your size and they don't fit because they're too BIG? Yeah. Doesn't happen to me often, but I've been working out a LOT, so it has been happening more frequently. Still, I go by my measuremets, and this was the 2nd pair I tried - I size bigger than the first. Still didn't fit. So... you try another, talking to yourself in your head, 'Well... maybe these run small," and even the bigger size is way too small? Well, that's what happened to me with these jeans. I really loved them and wanted them to work. I bought several different things from City Blues at the same time, and didn't even try them on. They're all going back. Dramatic? Maybe. But I measured myself again, and they should've fit. Oh - and this "new & improved" reviews, where you're asked to give your height and weight? Are you KIDDING ME? The only people who know my weight and height are me and my doctor. Not even my husband knows. He just knows he likes it, and that's all that matters. So forget that nonesense!
