Love the scent
The scent is amazing. It's unlike anything I've ever smelled before. It's hard to explain. Not flowery or fruity or musky. Warm. Different, but in a good way. I kept smelling myself after the shower. This was my first time trying any Le Labo item. I'm new to the brand, and wanted to try something without breaking the bank. If this is what they can make with a simple body wash, I cannot wait to try another scent. I think I'll be a fan for life.

I was so disappointed in this shower gel. I expected it to be good since Le Labo is such a highly rated brand. I ordered the Basil/Sesame scent and excepted it to be a green herbal scent. It wasn't, it was a pure floral scent, and not a very pleasant smelling one. It also dried out my skin terribly. It claims to have sesame oil in it so it shouldn't be drying, but it is. It did not leave my skin "soft and smooth" (as it claims). I've used tons of various shower gels over the years and this one is one of the worst ones I've used.

Completely addictive! Unique, intense woody aroma, great lather, and it leaves your skin soft and clean. I'm on my third bottle and I get a little surge of panic when I'm running low. I use it with an exfoliating washcloth, and it's like a fancy space treatment. Doesn't leave too much fragrance on the skin, which is nice because it won't interfere with my various perfumes.

Daily luxury of beautiful scent
I love the Basil scent from Le Labo. I bought the hand soap during the Anniversary sale and had to buy the shower gel too. I need to find a pump top as I prefer a pump dispenser for the shower. I'm also getting the hand lotion to complete the set. It's a very fresh herbal scent, like walking around an organic herb and vegetable garden. The hand soap and shower gel never leaves my skin feeling dry. Yes, it's pricey but it's a daily use luxury.

Le labo shower gel
I really like this shower gel. I’ve been using Laura Mercier body wash which is so amazing and creamy but they discontinued it. I wanted to find something comparable so I tried this stuff. It’s not as creamy as the LM but it doesn’t dry my skin out and LOVE the smell. I would recommend trying this out. I will be purchasing again.
