The settings on every washer and dryer can be a bit different and temperature settings between brands can vary. The exact temperature your dryer operates on depends on the dryer’s model, the cycle or heat settings selected, and the type and size of the load. If you use a commercial washer and dryer, the temperatures on these machines are typically higher when compared to a home system. If you are finding excess shrinkage and a lower temperature setting is not available on the machines you are using, hanging garments to dry will help reduce or eliminate the excess shrinkage.
