Short Gabardine Parka

I was looking for a jacket that I could wear in light rain that would still look great, and this fit the bill! It keeps me warm and dry when it's raining out (a normal, lighter rain--I wouldn't wear it in a torrential downpour), and I feel put-together in it. It's long enough to cover most of my shirts, hitting right at my hip bones. It also packs pretty well; it got a little wrinkled, but nothing too bad. Very happy with this purchase!

I am size M. 34D. Size 8 was so small that I had a hard time putting it on. At 5’4’’ it hit at my belly button. Too short. The material is cotton fabric and not water resistant at all. Poor quality stitching at the drawstring code. See the pics. For $2050+ with that, I expect better quality from Burberry. I have five coats/jackets from Burberry and they are much better. The security tag was still attached. Returning immediately.

I love everything about this parka accept that it runs big. They didn’t have any at the Burberry store for me to try on so I ordered size 6. It’s very big on me. I cinched the waist and it looks better but then the arms. I folded it up and its good enough. The shoulder feels really good so I am afraid of going down a size and it’s too tight when I wear something slightly bulky. I’m too lazy to exchange it via the mail service. I wish they had them in the store so I can just go and exchange but since they don’t I’ll just keep it.
