I’m sorry to see others have not been completely satisfied with this product...
I happen to LOVE it. I only have two shades so far, but I found them to be soft and creamy and still deeply pigmented. They glide over the lips to cover in one pass.
I have more than 140 lip colors at the present time and this lipstick is one of my favorites. I will definitely be buying more.
Shiseido cosmetics continue to impress me!

I'm at a loss for words. Shiseido lipsticks have changed formulas in the last five or six years and they have gone from very good, to so-so- and now this strange little number is very disappointing. It's drying and that for me is never going to work. Disappointing.

More like a stain
The color really has staying power but is more matte texturally than the satin finish I expected. Unless you want drama, you’ll have to apply with a light hand or better yet with a lip brush. Smooth and creamy.

uneven pigment
The formula is very smooth and glides easily. It is very pigmented, but the pigment is unevenly distributed and emphasizes the fine lines in the lips. It might work better if you use a lipliner or a primer. I got the coral pop and it actually looks a little neon, not natural. I actually like the balm version of this stick much better.
