Canfield Sport Chronograph Leather Strap Watch, 45mm

Bought this watch for my boyfriend as an anniversary gift. We came across this watch while browsing around in Nordstrom and his eyes completely lit up when he saw and tried it on so I knew that was the one for him. It was also cool hearing the back story of the brand from a sales associate. It's a gorgeous, gorgeous watch in person. It's now the only watch he ever wears and neglects his other watches (haha). He's gotten many compliments on the watch when he goes out and what I love about the brand is that its not flashy like other designer brands where is all about the brand and not the actual watch-work but instead it's low-key yet upscale and definitely feels luxurious and exhibits its value. Definitely worth the investment. There was a small issue with the minute hand that came up where it wasn't moving so the time would be a few minutes off, so I brought it into the Shinola store in Palo Alto, CA to get it fixed. Cool thing about this brand is that you could always send the watch back to the store if there are any issues and they can fix/recalibrate it for you as well. But I will be honest, the customer service at the actual Shinola store wasn't the best so if you decide you need service on the watch, I would try going through Nordstrom instead (I think they can send it back to Shinola as well).

Great quality, visually striking, and the leather does not require much wearing in to feel great on the wrist. The watch face is a good size and balance between being noticeable and overstated. The dial also offers enough contrast to be easily readable in low-light settings. Overall, no complaints or negatives to report.
