How to use: Sweep a light-medium matte across lid, layer a deeper shade on top and then blend darker shades along crease to achieve depth and definition. Layer metallic shades on the center of the lid to highlight and add dimension. Finish with a few coats of Smokey Eye Mascara.

Really Great!
This is not a "waterproof " mascara but it does wear like one. Application is great with no clumping issues. It does not smudge after wearing it all day in 90+ degree, humid weather in the south. I have tried many different brands of mascara and this one is by far the best! I am 62 years old with all of the issues that come with age (droopy lids, under eye bags) but no panda eyes with this product. This mascara stays in place and you will need an eye makeup remover because it doesn't wash off. I highly recommend this mascara to anyone searching for a truly stay-in-place, smudge proof product.

Not impressed
I bought this mascara because I saw it on someone and I thought her eyes looked terrific. She was wearing this mascara. I was really skeptical about paying $28 for a tube of mascara. I have always used Maybeline and been very satisfied. All I can say is I've tried it and I'm not impressed. It was clumpy, went on unevenly, and flaked, all of the things it says it's not supposed to do. It does add volume to the eyelash, but it was way to thick.

Favorite Mascara
This is my favorite mascara, and I have been using it for several years. What I like about it is that it gives my lashes the right amount of length and thickness with just two coats. Some mascaras just lengthen, and you have skinny, spidery lashes, but no thickness. Other mascaras just thicken and clump, but don't lengthen. I don't have to put much effort into making my lashes look their best with this mascara. I also love the brush. It's the perfect size and thickness, and seems to grab all my skinny, short lashes and lengthen them. I am not a fan of the narrow plastic brushes, or the curved brushes. For me, it makes mascara more difficult to apply.
The product almost feels like a waterproof mascara, but it's not waterproof, but lasts all day until I remove it in the evening. I do recommend using a cosmetic oil to remove your mascara. I have done this for years, and it keeps the delicate tissue around your eyes very soft as well as no tugging at your lashes.

Happy with new purchase
I first tried this mascara with a sample that was sent to me.
After using the sample a couple of times I made my 1st purchase.
I think I have finally found a mascara for me. Feels good and looks good on.
Does not flake.

beautiful smoky eye palette
Every year I purchase the Bobbi Brown makeup palette. This one does not disappoint. All of these shades are wearable. And the compact is absolutely beautiful. The shadows glide on with no creasing. Long wearing with great stay power. The mascara is full size in a black shade. It makes lashes appear long and creates more volume. The anniversary price is a great value. Palette is perfect for travel. Highly recommend.

I won't buy another mascara ... Ever! It stops here for me. Better than the over hyped Diorshow any day of the week.

BRING BACK EXTREME PARTY MASCARA
I bought this for the first time recently, as I've run out of my stash of Bobbi Brown Extreme Party Mascaras. The Smokey Eye Mascara is hard to remove and gives me under eye smudges/dark circles for days after wearing it. Is that the "smokey eye" look? I've even used Bobbi Browns makeup remover to take it off and still woke up with black underneath my eyes. It also gives me "spider lashes" and is not as buildable as the Extreme Party Mascara was. I'm so disappointed they discontinued the product I had been used for years. I will NOT be repurchasing this.
