Cloche Shower Cap

Although its super cute and sassy, it doesn't work at keeping your hair dry. The hair around the edge of the cap, gets wet as it doesn't seal in your hair. It runs too small to go over your hair bun. The water will run into the cap if you bend down to wah your feet or shave your legs. Cute, but a waste of money.

Came across the ShhhowerCap while looking to replace my old cap (under $10). My head is larger (beanies are always a tight fit) and my just-past shoulder length hair is on the thicker side. So I was prepared, after reading the 1st review, that it wouldn't work for me...but it does. Even though it seemed small at first, I was able to pull my hair back and stuff it inside. It has a snug fit at the front and an elasticized back. It costs more than I've ever spent on a shower cap, but it is made in America and is machine washable.

I was really hoping this would deliver all its promises of a better engineered shower cap that would fully protect my hair and looked cuter. I have curly hair and I am trying to maintain my blowouts as long as possible. This shower cap does look cute compared to others. This shower cap does not protect your hair better than others. I still come out of the shower with a damp hairline in my back and front, which if course curls or kinks my hair there. Even with it being tight, it does loosen up. I was hoping the box came with tips for properly putting it on thinking it was me, but it doesn't.
