Sheri Slim Fit Velvet Pants

I bought these in black and they shockingly fit me like a glove! After recently losing some weight, my shape is still fairly curvy but I have loose skin now, so I need something that holds everything in with enough stretch to be comfortable, but not so much stretch that there is total anarchy! These feel sturdy and like they will hold their shape well. I also love the mid-rise. The black was so flattering that I ordered the currant as well. The color was not quite as vivid as I was expecting, but still pretty. My only complaint is that there are spots on the currant ones where the velvet seems crushed -- stroking/brushing the grain of the fabric does not get rid of these spots. I think I could live with them except they are all clustered around the crotch area and on one back pocket. It could be that washing them will fix it but I can't risk it. I'm going to exchange them and hope I get another pair without the flaws. Otherwise these are lovely pants and I'm so excited to wear them this season!
