A slimming parka
Who knew a PARKA could look so good on? Now I see why this canada goose parka is so popular, it doesn't make you look big and bulky which is hard to do with a heavy winter coat. It is very stylish. This is ranked as a "3" on their scale, and I could tell a big difference in warmth when I tried on a "3" vs. a "4" in the store. So plan accordingly, the different styles are definitely numbered in accordance to the temperature they can be worn in. This parka fit me extremely well in the shoulders and I feel like I could actually more my arms. It also passed the "hug" test, which a lot of coats and parkas don't seem to pass for me. All and all, very happy with my purchase. My coats last 10+ years normally, and I am to the point I am willing to pay $100/year to stay comfortable in the freezing Chicago weather. This and Mackage I was very impressed with.

I thought Canada Goose was supposed to be warm?
Wore this coat outside on a 34 degrees day (“felt like 17” with the windchill). I was freezing. My arms were cold and so was my torso. Honestly, my Northface coat from 15 years ago is warmer. What a disappointment, especially for the cost. Will be returning.

Color not accurate
The jacket is a bit different than the Shelburne Parka from Canada Goose. It has a different hood and coat lining. It doesn't feel as warm which is weird because it is the "same coat". The Atlantic Navy is a bright navy color and different than the one in the photo. This coat fits better than the coat from Canada Goose. The Medium in the Shelburne Parka from CG is a bit more snug than the one from Nordstrom.

poor quality
I purchased this coat a year ago. It very warm and fits true to size. It’s comfortable. I’m 5.8’’ 140lb and size medium was perfect. However after one year of use the color (I got navy blue) started to FADE around sleeves and zipper. I looks like its been worn for several years. I think for the price the quality of the material should have been better.

fits small and fabric is a magnet
Absolutely everything sticks to the fabric. I tried it on at home and put it in my car to take back and it looked like it had been worn for a season - sweater fibers, dust etc. I have another Canada Goose puffer that never had this problem; I ultimately took it back.
