Umbrella with Dots

I love this umbrella! A button on the lower handle opens it and shuts it, a good feature if one is carrying packages & bags. It's apparently wind-resistant, but I've not used it in the wind yet. Most of all, it's stylish and good-looking! I use it when I wear a red trench raincoat and get lots of compliments. The white dots on black on the umbrella, and the red coat are perfect. Throw in some black boots, too. Oh yes, and it's made right here in rainy Portland, Oregon, USA!

Cute but not well made

This is my third try on this umbrella. I think the rainbow polka dots are super cute. However, I used my first umbrella twice and the handle broke. I ordered a new umbrella and returned the broken one. The second umbrella broke the first time I used it. A couple of the rods broke when I closed it. Because it’s so cute and because Nordstrom has such a great return policy, I decided to try it a third time. I live in Los Angeles, so I don’t get much rain. I have used the third umbrella once with no problem. I’ll see how long it lasts. I’m very thankful for Nordstrom’s very lenient return policy. I would be so much more disappointed if it had been difficult to return/replace the broken umbrellas.

Inside out with the first gust

Bought this specifically because of the claims of standing up to wind, but it did not live up to the "WindPro" claims. Upon first use, turned inside out with the first wind gust. Spent the entire walk in the pouring rain holding the edges down with one hand while water ran up my sleeve & pulling back to correct direction every few seconds. Gave it two stars because it is cute, small enough to be easily transportable, & the open & shut function works fine. Since I already have other umbrellas that meet that criteria, I will be returning this one for not meeting my need as promised.

I'm set for April Showers!

This is a great umbrella! It opens and closes at the press of a button. When it's folded and tucked into it's handy case it's almost flat! The only disappointment is that I thought it was navy with white stripes and it's black with white stripes. I definitely got my money's worth!

NOT windproof

The fact that this is called WindPro is misleading... I use this frequently during Boston rain showers and it flips inside out at least once per use. About as "windproof" as the flimsy umbrellas I've bought for much less. The auto open is very convenient and is the one redeeming feature.

Cute! But not particularly functional.

Love the design of this cute little umbrella but it's not sturdy enough for everyday use. Even a small amount of wind causes this umbrella to flip inside out.
