This is a manual umbrella
This was neither auto-open or auto-close. This is a completely manual umbrella. It even say as much on the tag. The lack of these features makes this absolutely useless in a Florida downpour. I wouldn’t have ordered had the description been correct. I was specifically looking for an auto-open & close feature. Back it goes.

Not worth the money
I will not be keeping this umbrella. It is very hard to open and close. Does not even have a button to assist with that. Also, the case that comes with it has a zipper on it gets caught on the umbrella material and will damage it. There are much cheaper and better options that will last a lot longer for a compact umbrella.
