Shawl Collar Faux Fur Jacket

My 17 year old wore this with a hot pink shift and black wedges. I bought this for her for her high schools homecoming dance. She loved it. It brought her outfit together (which I knew it would) and kept her warm. She was thankful. I told her it was a “forever piece” she should keep around in her closet for nice occasions. Downside is its dry clean..closest one to us is 1.5 hours away.

This jacket is soft and TTS. It's quality nice, and the satin lining is classy also making it easy-on & off. I'm a petite 5' 2 1/2", hits right at hip/top of bum; cuffs hit right where they do on model. I got the red, and the real color is not anything like the picture. The real jacket is darker and nearer to a barn red. The collar, as stated is a shawl collar, but look closely at the pix - it's huge - goes from outside of one shoulder to the other. A friend of mine who is a bit slope-shouldered tried it on, & it didn't look well on her at all. My shoulders are average, and it makes my shoulder look sloped as well. Last thing, there is no closure at all. In all fairness, that's probably stated in the description, but my other fuzzy jackets like this have a large, single hook-and-eye closure, so I was hoping this would as well. Over all, this jacket is good enough to keep but doesn't score go-to status.
