Jacquard Bow Sheath Cocktail Dress

This is a beautiful dress, but it did not flatter my overall looks. I like that the material is somewhat stiff, so there is no need to wear shapewear. If I kept the dress, I would have had the waist taken in. I bought the dress for 'mother of the groom', wedding/reception. Size 4 fit me, and I usually wear a size 6.

I really like this dress and think it will be a great addition to my wardrobe. It's not flashy, so I can wear it to business cocktail parties as well as weddings. Some commented that the top is a bit boxy. I ordered a size 6, which is the right size for me, but had the top and waist altered so it now fits better and is more flattering. For reference, I am 5'8" and 127 lbs.

The fabric, color, and style concept are great, but poorly executed. And for almost $400, the zipper is very cheap/low quality and the cut is not for someone with larger than a D cup (I am a 34F), nor for someone with average or broad shoulders. The sleeves are also tight and there is no "kick pleat" in the back. Quality is more on the order of a $100 dress. It is going back.

Beautiful colors and fabric but I could not lift my arms higher than shoulder height so I returned. Bought for a wedding and could not imagine attempted to dance in it.

I returned this dress because it just wasn't a fit for me... a bit boxy up top, and very snug through the hips. There are two fabric bands that extend down/across diagonally from the center waistband (and are not very noticeable in the photo) that only accentuate the unfortunate fit. This is a lovely dress, but only for those with the right figure!!!

This dress is very beautiful and classy but the sizing is off. The top portion does not match the very tight and narrow hip portion of the dress.
